An estimated 18 million people in the U.S. alone are affected by a sleep disorder, many of whom are undiagnosed. Of those that have been diagnosed, many are unhappy with their treatment options. CleveMed´s Division of Sleep Disorders is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with sleep disorders around the world.
The Division´s current product offerings include complete
wireless PSG systems, such as the 14-channel
Crystal Monitor® 20-S and Crystal Monitor 20-B and the 22-channel

The Crystal Monitor 20-S, Crystal Monitor 20-B and Sapphire PSG systems can all be upgraded with the iPSG Inpatient PSG System to allow for remotely attended sleep studies in a hospital inpatient setting. Patients can be tested from inpatient rooms and monitored by a technologist remotely - even if the sleep lab is far away.
Because of the systems´ compact size and wireless design, system setup and rearrangement are fast and simple. As a result, the systems are uniquely suited not just for studies in the traditional sleep lab setting, but also for nontraditional sleep lab applications such as hospital inpatient testing, outpatient pre-surgical testing, nursing homes, "hotel sleep labs" and patients´ homes.
The Division of Sleep Disorders has several new products in development for both diagnosis and therapy. The PSG@Home
™ system upgrade to any CleveMed Sleep system which uses mobile broadband technology to combine the comfort of the patient´s own home with the security of a technologist attended study. Patients can be sent home with a full PSG setup and a portable bedside system, which can then be controlled and monitored in real-time by a sleep technologist remotely from almost anywhere.
For sleep disorders treatment, CleveMed is developing a new auto-titrating CPAP for home use. Additionally, this new type of CPAP could be used at home to measure CPAP effectiveness and patient compliance.
Here at CleveMed, the Division of Sleep Disorders is committed to pioneering innovative methods for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.
