Software Development Kit (SDK)

The Software Development Kit (SDK), available for use with KinetiSense, greatly increases the flexibility for research applications. Using the SDK, you can design any software interface around the KinetiSense system.

The SDK allows the user to write custom LabVIEW™ or 32-bit Windows applications to display and analyze data in real-time. Additionally, the integration of system hardware, LabVIEW drivers and LabVIEW allows real-time control of other devices (e.g. EMG or motion sampled by KinetiSense could be processed and used to control a robotic arm in real-time).

The Kinetisense SDK includes Win 32 dynamic link libraries (DLL) and drivers designed to function with software written in LabVIEW 8.5 or newer. The SDK also includes function documentation, sample code and a User´s Guide. There are different drivers available depending on which version of KinetiSense you are using. Both a single sensor version and multi-sensor version are currently in use, so please refer to the pictures below to determine which driver package is appropriate for your system.
