Biomedical Engineer

Due to our continued growth in R&D, we need a Biomedical Engineer to assist with new biomedical research in the Division of Movement Disorders. This division is focused on developing diagnostic and rehabilitation systems for those with movement disorders resulting from clinical disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and cerebral palsy. Responsibilities will include clinical data collection and organization, interfacing with clinicians to organize clinical studies, assisting in grant writing, data analysis and signal processing and assisting in the clinical validation of such techniques, test engineering as part of new product development, and assistance with regulatory documentation and preparation.

Required Skills:

  • B.S. in biomedical engineering with at least 2 years experience
  • Experience in physiological signals processing and analysis
  • Experience in using data acquisition hardware and software
  • Proficiency in technical writing

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in using analysis software packages such as LabVIEW and MATLAB
  • Experience in conducting clinical trials preferably in neurology or rehabilitation engineering
  • Experience in software development

Sales Manager – Europe

The needs of the CleveMed Sales Department are expanding after recently receiving both the ISO certification and CE mark. Therefore, CleveMed is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a Sales Manager focused on growing the European market. The candidate will be responsible for selling wireless data acquisition equipment to educational and research markets with the target audience being universities and independent research facilities in Europe. The candidate will be expected to establish a network of distributors, follow-up on existing leads, generate new leads, provide personal product demonstrations, provide distributor and customer training and support, participate in bi-weekly sales meetings and generate weekly progress reports. CleveMed is seeking a hands-on, creative sales professional who is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The candidate must be friendly, outgoing, persistent, driven and willing to work hard to grow CleveMed’s presence in Europe. CleveMed offers strong salary and health benefits, 401(k) matching and outstanding growth potential. Travel will be required.

Required Skills:

  • BS in engineering, business or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of technical sales experience, specifically in the education and research markets
  • Experience in International Sales markets, regulations, and distributor management

Senior Biomedical Researcher

Responsibilities include grant writing, project management, developing new algorithms and signal processing techniques and assisting in the clinical validation of such techniques.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in technical writing and grant writing

  • Experience in software development in C or C++
  • Experience in using analysis software packages such as LabVIEW and MATLAB
