SleepScout Hardware
The SleepScout 9-channel wireless portable sleep monitor includes pressure based airflow, pulse oximetry, snore, thoracic and abdominal respiratory efforts, body position, a generic auxiliary DC input and a differential pressure transducer that allows for CPAP titration studies. The 2 additional channels are dependent upon which SleepScout model best meets your lab´s specific needs. Because sleep test data is stored on a removable SD memory card, long term ambulatory studies can be performed over several days without requiring the patient to return to the sleep lab until the end of the study.
Unlike other portable sleep monitors currently on the market, SleepScout´s wireless technology for real-time data transmission to any PC or peripheral allows the technologist to confirm proper placement of sensors at any time from a remote location with the purchase of an
optional accessory. This technology also provides real-time physiological feedback during procedures.
