PSG Hardware

The Sapphire PSG patient unit combines the traditional headbox and amplifier into one, compact, wireless PSG monitor for recording physiological signals. This 22-channel full PSG system includes multiple channels of EEG, EOG and EMG, as well as ECG, thermistor, body position and respiratory effort. The patient unit also includes several built-in sensors, including pulse oximetry, pressure based airflow and a generic auxiliary DC input. These additional sensors embedded within the PSG system provide increased flexibility and eliminate the need for additional transducers.

After the data acquisition and signal amplification are performed, the full PSG sleep data is wirelessly sent to the computer unit. The computer unit then transfers the data to the computer via a USB cable for storage and display with Crystal PSG^™ software. Data is also stored on a removable SD memory card for data back up.

Several optional accessories are available for purchase with the Sapphire PSG sleep monitor, ranging from laptop or desktop computers (CleveMed is an authorized reseller of Dell^™ computers and equipment) and wireless infrared camera packages to disposable supply kits and extended warranties.
