The DreamPort is compatible with Sapphire PSG^™ 900 MHz. The Sapphire PSG sleep monitoring system wirelessly transmits data from the patient unit to the DreamPort sleep study portal. The DreamPort system can be placed up to 100 feet from the patient. Data is stored on the DreamPort system as well as on a removable SD memory card inside of the Sapphire PSG patient unit.

The DreamPort sleep monitoring system uses mobile broadband, standard LAN or wireless internet connection to allow the data to be viewed and controlled remotely. A sleep technologist connects to the DreamPort system to start, monitor and stop the study. This remote monitoring system gives clinicians and researchers great flexibility to conduct sleep studies anywhere. While the sleep study can be monitored remotely during the night, data scoring and interpretation is done after acquisition is complete (using data downloaded from the DreamPort the following day).
