The Crystal Monitor 20-B operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, wirelessly transmitting data from the patient unit to the computer unit. Because the 2.4 GHz ISM band is available in most countries, this system is an ideal option internationally. The Crystal Monitor 20-S operates in the same fashion, but is the only wireless PSG system that operates in the 900 MHz ISM band. For both systems, the PC and computer unit can be located in the patient room or elsewhere up to 100 feet from the patient. Both Crystal Monitor systems provide data storage on a removable SD memory card as well.
