PSG Hardware
The Crystal Monitor patient unit combines the traditional headbox and amplifier into one, lightweight, wireless PSG system for recording physiological signals. This 14 channel system includes two channels each of EEG, EOG and EMG; and one channel each of ECG, thoracic effort and abdominal effort. The patient unit also includes several built-in sensors, including body position, pulse oximetry, pressure based airflow and a generic auxiliary DC input. These additional sensors embedded within the wireless PSG system provide increased flexibility and eliminate the need for additional transducers.
After the data acquisition and signal amplification is performed, the sleep data is wirelessly sent to the computer via the computer unit for storage and display with the Crystal PSG software. Data is also stored on a removable SD memory card for back up.
Several optional accessories are available for purchase with the Crystal Monitor wireless PSG systems, ranging from laptop or desktop computers (CleveMed is an authorized reseller of Dell
™ computers and equipment) and wireless infrared camera packages to disposable supply kits and extended warranties.
