CleveLabs™ Curriculum

CleveLabs™ is designed to expose students to the experience of physiological signal acquisition, data analysis and signal processing, engineering and clinical applications. The laboratory course integrates innovative bioinstrumentation hardware and transducers with hands-on learning through interactive software that educates biomedical engineering or health science students on instrumentation, electrophysiology and clinical applications.

CleveLabs™ BioRadio™ 150

CleveLabs™ utilizes the BioRadio™ 150, which is a compact, wireless, 14-channel data acquisition device for measuring physiological signals. The hardware is comprised of 6 pre-set inputs and 8 programmable channels which can be configured to measure any physiological signal, such as electrical activity from the heart, brain and muscle as well as transducer inputs such as respiration, force and blood pressure.

CleveLabs™ Software

The CleveLabs™ Laboratory Course Software includes over 30 lab sessions to teach students data acquisition, signal processing, engineering and real world clinical applications. Included are pre-written lab manuals and step by step set up, data collection and data analysis instructions. The design of the course minimizes set up time and equipment troubleshooting and allows students to easily begin the lab and focus on learning the concept.
